Friends of Attleborough Surgeries

friends.gifThis registered charity exists to provide additional equipment and facilities not normally provided by the National Health Service.  Over many years donations, legacies and fund raising activities from patients has enabled the practice to purchase equipment that would not have ordinarily been available on the NHS and has enabled the Surgeries to enhance services offered to patients.

The donations have assisted in ensuring that the practices have for example, kept up-to-date with technology and the purchase of new equipment where funding has not been available from the NHS.

In the last three years items funded by the Friends include:

  • Telehealth
  • Medication deliveries
  • Height adjustable couch
  • Phlebotomy chairs
  • Mobile screen
  • Calibration syringe for spirometer
  • BP monitors/ECG
  • Contribution to refurbishment of Station Road Surgery dispensary, reception and waiting area.

Donations may be made to any of the Trustees or the Practice Manager, Lucy McLean, who can be contacted at the Station Road Surgery.
