If you want to order repeat prescriptions, you must order by one of the following methods:
This is the quickest, easiest way to order medication. On-line access can either be arranged directly at the Surgery or via the following Patient Access link .
In order to order medication on-line, you must request on-line registration in person with a receptionist or on the website directly. Each member of the family will need to be registered separately. As part of registration, you will need to present at the Surgery with a form of photographic ID. You can bring this in with you at the time of registration, if you are registering directly at the Surgery. If you do not have any form of photographic ID, please contact the Surgery and we will endeavour to help.
If you register direct on Patient Access via our website, you will need to present at either Surgery with a form of photographic ID before the full range of options are made available to you. This can either be done before or after setting up your on-line registration.
After you have confirmed your account on-line, you will be able to order repeat medication via the link at the top of this page as well as book appointments of your choice live and direct into our appointment system.
You may sign up for automatic dispensing. Please read the following leaflet and complete the request form and return it to dispensary if you wish to request Automatic Dispensing.
Tick off the medication you require on your repeat prescription list and drop it in to the dispensary. If the surgery is closed you can put it through the letterbox. If you don't have your printed list, you can write what you need on a piece of paper.
Please address the envelope to "The Dispensary" at Station Road Surgery (enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you require the repeat slip to be sent back to you).
In all cases please order your prescriptions 2 working days before they are needed (longer if ordering by post).
Collecting Your Repeat Medication
Prescriptions for medication that you may have had before but which are not on a repeated prescription cannot be issued routinely as above. You may request it by telephoning or in person but it must be authorised by your doctor.
Following the recent changes to the practice, you can now only collect your repeat prescriptions from Station Road surgery. However, if you are a chemist patient and have your repeat prescriptions sent direct to the pharmacy, you are not affected and will continue as normal.
Our weekly delivery service is now in place and we currently deliver to around 70 patients. If you are a patient that we dispense to, you are over 65 years old and are interested in having your medication delivered, please ask at the dispensary.
If you don't pay for your prescriptions and have difficulty collecting it from the surgery you may be able to either pick it up from or have it delivered by Lloyds Pharmacy. This service is unfortunately only available for people who live in Attleborough. Contact the pharmacy for details.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
